Year 8 Leavers Mass

I want to say thank you to the wonderful year 8’s for their positive attitudes, leadership and talents they have contributed to the life of our school.

You are all unique, passionate and inspiring young people, that have been an absolute pleasure to teach.

I have enjoyed developing your talents, learning with you and seeing you achieve great things.

You should be incredibly proud of the beautiful, kind hearted young people you are.

You have made my job FUN and ENJOYABLE each day and many people can’t say they love going to work, so thank you!

I would also like to thank the parents for entrusting me with your children and for raising them into respectful, well mannered people. I know sometimes it may seem like you are going through a ‘troubling teen phase’ but I can assure you that your child has strong values and is striving to be the best they can be.

Year 8’s I have a verse for you today from Jeremiah 29:11

‘For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future’
