Sumner Beach

Today we had fun learning about the sand dunes and the importance of protecting them. The students got to make their own dune system in small groups. It was such a fun day in the beautiful sunshine. A huge thank you to Mrs Thoms, Mrs Agpasa and Mr Clapp who made this trip possible!

Duffy Theatre

Today we watched a performance run by The Duffy Theatre. The main message of the show was how important reading is and how enjoyable it can be. There is a book out there for everyone! Thanks Duffy for inspiring us to read (:

Have a look at this activity we tried. There are no chairs or hands being used. The students had to have faith in their own strength and their class mates.

R.E - The Trinity

Today we learnt about the trinity and tried to understand how God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit are all one. We did an experiment with milk, food colouring and dish washing liquid and watched the ingredients and colours merge together making beautiful patterns. We also looked at how an egg has a shell, egg white and yolk but all these components are still part of an egg. The class are pretty good at explaining what the trinity is....ask them for yourself!
