Wearable Arts

Room 7 is full of CREATIVE, INNOVATIVE and TALENTED young people! Each student designed and created a wearable item made of reusable or recyclable material. I was very proud of the class strutting their stuff on the catwalk!

Filipino Group

Every Friday lunchtime a group of students have been meeting with some Year 13 leaders from Catholic Cathedral College. The group have been learning some Filipino Songs and will be performing at the end of the year. It has been lovely for the non-Filipino children to embrace the Filipino langauge and for the Filipino children to share their beautiful culture with us.

Girls you all looked beautiful and boys you all looked very smart. I feel privileged to share that special moment with you all and can't wait to see God work in your life.

Metro Bromley Class Trip

We had a super morning spent at the Metro Bromley. We all gained a greater understanding of our carbon footprint and ways to reduce it. The students learnt the recycling process and all came up with practical ways to reuse so called "rubbish". Each student has come up with a goal to work on to reduce their waste. I look forward to seeing the students put their goals into action and make a difference in our world.

Parents ask your child what their goal and support them with achieving it. You might like to make it a whole family goal. For example you could bring your own fabric bags to the supermarket instead of using plastic ones.

A BIG thank you to the parents/family that made our trip possible. We couldn't have done it without you.

Have a look at the photos below and leave a comment :)
