Happy Easter

Have a lovely Easter Room 7! I hope you enjoy your break, get time to relax and remember the real meaning of Easter. I'm excited for a brilliant Term 2 developing your leadership, challenging your ideas and achieving wonderful things. 

Health Expo

The students have been working very hard over the past few weeks to prepare for our health expo. A variety of different topics were researched such as teeth, obesity, food, sleep and exercise. The students collaborated in small groups to identify a problem and come up with a solution. Each group had fantastic ideas such as charts to tick when you have brushed your teeth and how to make a healthy lunchbox. One group made their own website on obesity and another created their own healthy eating cookbook. New games were made and new sports were trialled.

 Thank you parents for coming to look at all our hard work, we hope you learnt something new! 

Year 8 Leadership Day

The year 8 students had a fantastic time at their leadership day! They had the opportunity to mix with other schools, share their ideas and learn more about God. I am excited to see our year 8 leaders grow and be strong role models at our school! 

Happy St Patrick's Day!

It was great to see so much green in the class today to celebrate St Patrick's Day. Thank you to the wonderful PTA and parents that put on a sausage sizzle for us at lunchtime :D 

Year 7/8 Camp - Wainui

We had a FANTASTIC 3 day camp at Wainui earlier this week. The students had lots of fun doing the high ropes course, abseiling, coasteering and kayaking. We had delicious food, played team building games, walked to the beach, had a dance battle and embraced all challenges.

Despite the rainy and chilly weather all the students had a positive attitude and had FUN!

A huge thank you to Sue, Chris and Blair who were our amazing parent helpers on the trip. It wouldn't have been possible with out you!
