Arts Festival

I am super proud of Room 7 and their talented dancing skills. We had been practising hard for many weeks and on the night that really showed. I hope you enjoyed our performances. There is more pictures to come....

TOUGH KIDS

Room 7 and Room 6 had an awesome day at South New Brighton participating in a 'Tough Kids' fun day. The students ran fast, clambered over tyres, manoeuvred through rope, slithered through tunnels and got soaking wet! It was great to see everyone give every obstacle a go, with a positive attitude :D 

Swimming

Room 7 had swimming lessons at Kings Swim School for 2 weeks. They improved on their Stoke and learnt a range of water  safety skills. I even had the privilege of teaching some if them :D 

Prayer Service - Diversity

At Sacred Heart we are proud of our Culturally Diverse School. Room 7 delivered an meaningful and touching Prayer Service on Diversity. 

Diversity is:

-Respecting People’s Feelings

-Helping people who may not be able to do something that you can do.

-Recognising and valuing the Tangata Whenua of our land.
